Mr. James Hwang joined Chi Fu Group in 2021 and currently also serves as the Chairman of Franklin Templeton SinoAm Securities Investment Management Inc. Mr. Hwang has over 30 years of experience in the mutual fund industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hwang was the president of Franklin Templeton SinoAm Securities Investment Management Inc. for over 13 years. Prior to that, he served as a senior vice president of Franklin Templeton Securities Investment Consulting (SinoAm) Inc. He also was previously with International Investment Trust Co., Ltd as a fund manager. Mr. Hwang holds an M.B.A. degree from University of Washington, USA.

Mr. Liu has over 30 years of experience in the banking, securities and mutual fund industries. Mr. Liu is Founder and was CEO of Franklin/Templeton Securities Investment Consulting (SinoAm) Inc., also founded Franklin Templeton SinoAm Securities Investment Management Inc. in 2002. He is currently actively practicing his shareholding role in these two entities. Mr. Liu joined Franklin Templeton Investments Group (“FTI”) in 1988 and was appointed by Franklin Templeton Investments Group as chief representative in China at its Beijing Representative Office in October 1997. In this role, he was responsible for negotiations on behalf of FTI with prospective JV partners and established operations for FTI in the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Liu at present time oversees/advises all entities under his active roles in different entities, especially focuses in structuring the direct investment (venture capital) projects.

Mr. Zsolt Katona has been working on the Hungarian capital market for more than 25 years. In recent years he has focused on development of the Hungarian venture capital ecosystem as the President of Hiventures and the CEO of MFB Invest. Prior to that, he managed the top institution of the Hungarian capital market, the Budapest Stock Exchange, for many years. His banking and investment professional experience is due to his nearly 17 years in various positions at the ING Group. He has extensive international business development relations and was recently invited to represent Hungary at the World Business Angels Investment Forum.
